About This Item

Davis, Ca.: Agricultural History Center University of California, Davis, 1975. Staplebound. Green wraps. Very good. 116 pages. 27.5 x 21 cm. With an emphasis on secondary source material this bibliography strives to give voice to the countless unnamed laborers that existed in this country until the mass migration toward the city in the twentieth century. This collection largely deals with labor, agriculture, education, financial status, with lesser material on politics and home life. The compilers relied on collections at Tennessee Valley Authority Library, Fisk University, Howard University, The Library of Congress, Southern Regional Council in Atlanta and the United States Civil Rights Commission. Interior crisp and clean, covers lightly soiled, spine strip missing.
