[London]: Priestley and Weale, 1825 12mo (17.5 cm), XV, [1], 189, [1] pp interleaved with blank paper. Contemporary half-calf over marbled boards, spine gilt, red morocco gilt-lettered label, sprinkled edges (binding slightly soiled, front board crack repaired, endpapers somewhat dusted, blind collector's stamp and pencil marks on front free endpaper, clip from bookseller catalogue mounted on top of the half-title, ownership entry on top of title, few manuscript entries on interleaving paper, outer margins of a few leaves stained, 4 leaves at the end water-stained). In 1824, Priestley and Weale issued a catalogue of English and foreign publications related to the science of architecture and engineering. This is a new edition of that catalogue, emended and corrected. "In arranging this list, we have divided the collection into Twelve Classes; to afford more facility for reference, there is subjoined a very elaborate Index of respective Authors, Books, Subjects, Buildings, etc." (from the Advertisement)
