Laid in is a circa 1923 printed photo of the author, and a signed numbered autograph by Edna Ferber....Doubleday, Page and Co, 1924 True First Edition,with dark Blue cloth covers, gold box front cover with title and author's name in blue(most of the gold still in place),gold title-author's name spine(most in place),publisher's name is black. minor shelfwear,small bump to the top corners and spine ends,webbing showing inside front cover or this book would be very tight(the rest of it is.A small stain on the end pages near the top first inside cover to page 34.slight foxing inside the cover leafs,no names,front cover and spine slightly sunned.A stain (slight) front cover away from the title looks to be a half circle,where someone set a glass on it.. Stated First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket.
