One of the classic baseball novels concerns the pre-Second World War Negro Leagues. Source for the fine 1976 movie. Some shelf wear along the bottom edge. There is a small area of staining in the bottom corner of the front panel. The dust jacket has a couple of short, closed tears and light edge wear.
