About This Item
Hardcover. 8vo. Glossy pictorial paper over boards, yellow pictorial paper over boards slipcase. 242pp, (2pp). Numerous illustrations (2 color), pictorial endpapers, sewn-in green satin page marker. Near fine/very good. Mild slipcase edgewear and light rubbing. Tight, attractive and unusual Japanese-language edition, the first volume of a 12-volume set. Other than the title translation, our non-existent Japanese prevents further bibliographical details such as year of publication (which appears to be circa 1970s or '80s) -- but our extensive Lincolniana background tells us these Japanese editions are rather uncommon.
