Near fine/very good. Abrasion on front flyleaf; jacket a bit edgeworn, with several miniscule edge chips. Quite tight and nice later printing of the fifth and final title in the 5-volume "Bird Boys" series (1912-14). Dramatic wraparound jacket art shows a World War One battle scene filled with mortar fire, French troops, dirigible in distance being struck by biplane fire, etc. Uncommon in a jacket. HUDSON p. 27.
