In very good condition with very good dustwrapper. Rubbing to edges. Spine darkened and rubbed. In protective sleeve.) Cloth a little faded at spine with some minor rubbing to edges and corners. Inside pages very clean and tight throughout. Map in rear pocket. A very clean and tight copy. Col. Meinertzhagen served in East Africa with the King's African Rifles from 1902 - 1906. He served in the First World War, saw service in Kenya, Palestine, the War Office and France. Author of "Birds of Egypt" and "Birds of Arabia". 624pp. With 19 colour plates, 9 photographic plates, 53 text-figures, 35 text maps and a folding map in rear pocket.
