G Bell & Sons Ltd, 1949. Hardcover. Good. 1949. First Edition. 153 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Grey cloth boards with brown lettering to spine. Signed by the author with dedication to front endpaper. Black and white illustrations & illustrative plates throughout, with some Colour plates also. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning. Light thumb marking present. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Gift Aid sticker to front.
