Blue-grey boards with tan cloth spine, gold foil titles & red decorations, top edge dyed maroon, [ix], 435 pp. DJ has a 2 cm chip to tail of spine and tears up to 4 cm that are not very noticeable in the Brodart archival cover. Cloth sunned where tail of spine was exposed by DJ chip, otherwise book is fine. This novel of pre-revolutionary Russia is based largely on real events and people, but with names and dates changed. Dust jacket designed by Warren Chappell. Shipping weight 3 lbs. (International 2 lbs., 4 oz.). 3rd ptg. . Near Fine/G+. 22 X 15 cm.
