Small octavo, pp 7, (5), 248, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, some pages slightly dusty internally, but generally in very good condition, bound in a late nineteenth century quarter morocco and pebbled cloth, gilt decorated spine with raised bands. An excellent copy. [The Oates-Selborne copy, with the bookplate of Robert Washington Oates; the library was later gifted to the Gilbert White Museum in 1955.]. [Rev. James Grahame [1765 - 1811), was a Scottish poet whose poems are full of quiet observation of country sights expressed in graceful verse. The Birds of Scotland, exemplifys both ornithological knowledge and descriptive ingenuity and ease.]. First Edition. Quarter leather. Very Good.
