Third Edition of Le Mort Darthur with Aubrey Beardsley's designs, limited to 1600 copies, after printing which the type has been distributed. Includes 4 double page and 17 full page illustrations, 43 ornamental borders, 300 ornamental initials, headpieces, and other decorations in the text. Cover design by Aubrey Beardsley. Black cloth boards with gilt lettering and floral design along spine, gilt floral design on front cover. Gilt top page edges. Shelfwear: cuffing along edges and cover boards, moderate fraying at cover corners and spine edges, 3/4-inch tear along top edge of spine, a few superficial scratches on back cover, some light tanning and foxing along page edges, two light creases at top right corner of front endpaper, binding is a little shaken. No marks. Volume is in Very Good condition..

Russian Hill Bookstore, established in 1974, is one of the last family-owned used and new bookstores in San Francisco. We began as Sunset Bookstore in 1974, a small used bookshop servicing the Sunset District west of 19th Avenue, and have been in continual operation for the past 43 years. Over the years Sunset Bookstore has since closed and merged with Russian Hill Bookstore, which has grown to become also the best note card shop in the city, and a favorite place for toys and games for children of all ages.
