Indianapolis, In: Bobbs- Merrill, 1927. Book. Very Good. Cloth. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Brick cloth with gilt lettering/rules to front, black lettering to spine. First Edition, later printing, with "piped" on page 17. This copy is VG in a VG, unclipped ($2.50) DJ ( second state with the John W. Crawford review on the front). Exterior is rich and square. Gilt is a bit rubbed. There is a 1/2 " vertical closed tear to top of spine. Edges, tips , and spine ends with very little wear. Inside has neat gift inscription to FEP along with a small abrasion ( price sticker removal?). Text is unmarked, crisp, and tight with expected toning. Top page edges dyed light brown. DJ has moderate chipping along the bottom / tips and a triangular chip to top of spine ( about an inch). .
