Chicago: Johnson Publishing Company, Inc., 1970. First Edition First Printing . Soft cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Small quarto. Unpaginated. Soft cover bound in white and black wrappers. The binding is worn and bumped. Front cover has some creases at the bottom corner. This also affects the half title, the title page, and the first few pages of the text. Spine is toned. Text block is separated from the binding but is sound. Prior owner's bookplate (George Breathett) inside the front cover (George Breathett was a professor of history at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC). Text is sound and clean. A collection of cartoons focused on racism and the position of African Americans in American society in 1970.
