A Tower Mystery, 1st thus, this is 1st printing of the Tower edition. Very Good book with color rubbed along top and bottom edges, boards slightly bowed, offsetting paste downs and end pages, pages age yellowed; in a Good to Very Good jacket that has edge and corner wear, some small chipschip and 3/4 inch tear at bottom of spine at jacket fold, light sun fade on spine and yellowing back pane, light rubbing. Inscribed – For Louise – with all good wishes – and signed Dorothy (B. Hughes). Scarce signature – Hughes mystery involving modern day slave trade in the Southwest.
