Methuen & Co. Fair with no dust jacket. 1897. Second Edition. Hardcover. Red cloth bds with gilt titles, much discoloured and worn, with spine ends having a chewed appearance, tears to the sides of the spine, old damp stains - particularly around the spine area, with is browned, and the titles dulled to the point of almost invisibility, corners bumps, ffep missing, title page and rfep are mottled, hinges sl cracked, but still feels tight, darkened uncut text block edges, previous owner's name/address to verso of title page, sl spotting to tissue guard of frontis, occasional internal marks to leaves. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 319 pages .
