Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 1985-01-01. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 9x6x1. Signed by Author. Inscribed by Carter on FFEP: "To James Chellis J Carter" Full number line, with D in front. Brown cloth boards show minor wear to edges from shelving. Mild bumping to either end of spine. Gilt lettering on spine and front still bright. Pages show light reading wear but remain clean and sharp cornered; edges of text block show traces of soil on top and leading edges. Full color dust jacket in mylar is unclipped, clean, with medium shelfwear rubbing, but still bright.
