Michael Joseph, 1971. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good. John Ward. Signed by Author(s). 181pp, not price clipped, signed by H.E. Bates to title page, name only, no other inscriptions, illustrated. Slight rubbing to dustwrapper, front is in very good condition unfortunately there is some damage to rear which has at some time got wet and is stained on inside and has several small areas of damage to outside, no water damage to boards. Wrapper now in clear removable protective sleeve. Internally very good condition with little reading wear. Heavy book, please inquire for postage outside the UK.
