Limited to 150 of which this is number 96. The novel follows the plot of Kay Fischer, who meets a stranger who claims to be her father. It won the Sunday Express Book of the Year and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Fiction. William Boyd is a Scottish novelist and short story writer. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding and marbled boards. In the original glassine wrapper. Externally, excellent. There is some slight wear to the extremities of the glassine, including some small creases and a few small tears. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean. Fine

Boyd lives in London.
