Early gray cloth, spine with red morocco label lettered in gilt (original decorated wrappers bound in), speckled page edges, lg 8vo. This book describes the interdependence of flowers and insects and adaptations that each have developed. This the personal copy of Harvard entomologist W.M. Wheeler with his signature on the title page and a few of his neat pencil annotations in margins of the text.
