About This Item
Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, 1919. [10], 341pp, [1], original cloth in DJ. DJ browned, lightly foxed, chipping to spine ends with small amount of loss, large closed tear at head to joint between front panel and spine, tape 'repairs' to reverse, book with fading to spine where DJ was chipped, a few spots of foxing to edges of text block, otherwise fairly clean. Seidman notes that "Chapter 12 (pp. 296-326), devoted to the rise and progress of American Bolshevism, lists socialists, pacifists, labor sympathizers, liberal intellectuals, anarchists, and the IWW as potential Bolsheviks here.
