About This Item
NY: Harper. Fine in Fine dust jacket. 1923. First Edition. Hardcover. Art; Western; We fit archival quality clear acrylic covers for additional protection whenever possible. ; Color Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 274 pages; 3 color and 35 or so b/w illustrations. Sioux, Cheyenne, Arapahoe etc. A near perfect example of this book known for the fragility of it's dust jacket. An exemplary copy in as new condition. Preserved in original [professionally repaired], box [VG]. Provenance is apparently - Marmian Williams Tharp Royen. Some sort of bookplate with her name has been affixed inside the box cover. Since it gives the dates 1927-2006 and place "Dayspring" Queen Anne, Maryland it is a bit mysterious. No other markings. A few light ripples to upper left quadrant of a few leaves. A fine copy in a fine dj. .
