Longmans Green, Reader and Dyer. Very Good. 1876. Hardcover. Fourth edition 1875, rewritten and greatly enlarged. 906 +2 pages. Illus with large folding map mounted on cloth by CAREY included. 15 full page illustrations and many text illustrations, some foxing, mainly to prelims, bound in original green cloth binding, gilt embellished to front cover and spine. A good looking copy. Scarce book on the River Axe and the topography and history along its route through South West England. A Presentation copy "to Mr Wheatley from his friend the Author July 26th 1875" inscribed on the front endpaper; Square 4to; Signed by Author .
