In 1712, John Baskett began printing the Book of Common Prayer, shortly after the success of the 1710 New Testament. Baskett was the royal printer during the first half of the 18th-century. This 1713 first edition thus of Baskett's 'Book of Common Prayer' includes the Psalms of David, liturgical calendars, the Articles, and is notable for being one of the earliest Baskett editions.
