Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Front free endpaper cut out. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Very slight crushing to spine ends.

King Penguin 1st 1947 . 8vo, boards of the book are in rather poor condition with spine strip missing, contents, however, are clean and complete G 215 gms.

There is a gift inscription to a former owner (Christmas 1951) but no other marks or wear. The pictorial covers re fresh, with minor wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket (repeats the cover illustration) has been price-clipped, but is also in very good condition, again with minor wear. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
