[v] 173p., 12.75x8.25 inches landscape format, introduction, illustrations, transcriptions, fine first edition thus limited to 500 copies bound in white cloth boards with paper title-label on spine printed in green foil, and a near-fine unprinted white dj. Publication no. 191. Some terrific writers can also render visuals, Henry Miller ingratiating, Faulkner ditto; Jeffers is not one of these. Rather poor stuff. At least the sketches are not overreaching, like oils by D.H. Lawrence and e.e. cummings.
