About This Item

London: Warne, 1901. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. Nice copy of the 1901 Warne printing of The book of Nonsense. Front endpaper gutter split, otherwise tight and clean. Also a nice copy of the 1900 Warne printing of More Nonsense, a bright clean copy without notable defects. So VG+ for the first and near fine for the second. A delightful way to read some Lear. These are the long quarto editions that are rather heavy. It;'s unusual to find a nice matching set with uncomplicated binding. Good fun.
