London: George E Eyre and William Spottiswoode, 1867. Leather. Very Good. 9.5" by 6.5". None. A full morocco copy of this religious Victorian work. 'Translated out of the original Hebrew; and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by His Majesty's Special Command'. With a bookbinder's label for Watkins to the rear pastedown. With a dedication plate to the front pastedown reading: 'Mrs Skinner, in remembrance of John and Ann Claridge, June 13th, 1876'. In a full morocco binding with gilt edges. Externally, some rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Generally clean with just a few scattered spots. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
