London: Hutchinson & Co, 1912. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/very good. 10 x 7.5", 282 pp, with 24 color plates, in publisher's blue bloth with blind stamped decoration, gilt on spine. Top edge of boards and head of spine are faded, and there is some insect nibbling to the cloth. Spine cloth lightly suned. Binding sound, text generally clean, but with some scattered foxing. In the scarce original dust jacket, which is lightly toned and has some chipping to the head of the spine.
