Case has slight wear except for two bumped corners at top front and rear near the foredge. Limited edition 184/250 copiesin a hinged case with a felt covered board inside. Book designed by Leo Maggs. 446 p. w/ notes, illus, index, and illustrated endpapers, including a geneaology chart of the Sotherns. An attractive and detailed history of his long-lived print and bookselling firm in the heart of London, noting its famous collections, clients and discoveries. A great addition to any library on books or the book trade.
