Description:
Saddle-stitched binding remains sound. Clean, unmarked interior. Only very gentle shelf-wear. Cover illustration by Jack Riegelhuth. A lovingly illustrated resource book for collectors of pre-industrial bottles. Colcleaser started out as a numismatist and only reluctantly converted to bottles after he bought a box of them on an impulse and saw his wife picking out her favorites (a Taylor and Williams Whiskey [Kentucky], a Tricoperious for the Skin and Hair [New York], and a Cancer Reducer [Michigan]). 'What color is the bottle?' he writes. 'The amethyst color is the most desirable. Ice blues and aquas are second. Different shades of brown come third, while the green shades are last.' 92 pp.
