New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1904. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Alfred Kappes. This book is clean, tight, square with good corners and internally unmarked. There is a book plate of Sit Galahad on the ffep and the top inch or so is missing, on the rear of the frontispiece there is a book plate and a pertinent note (King Arthur 520, Thomas Mallory 1470, William Caxton 1477). It is illustrated with glossy, black & white plates. The boards are covered in red cloth decorated in black with scroll work, shields and banners. They are lightly rubbed, mainly at the edges. The titles are in gold boxes on the spine and front. It has 403 pages plus ads.
