About This Item
Germany: Waisenhaus-Buchdruckerei. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1966. First Edition. Hardcover. (Picture report from the construction of a city, English translation) Cream cover with black lettering. Dust jacket has short tears, minimal wear. Lovely gift inscription on the first fly leaf, in English. Pages 5-7 give an overview of the city (German text) followed by 122, full page black and white plates with captions in German. I belive the graphic are credited to Hermann Eidenbenz. Beautiful but haunting photographs of the city before, during and after war, including a human element. Quite remarkable. ; 8vo. .
