Synopsis
Elizabeth Dewberry Vaughn grew up in Alabama, graduated from Vanderbilt University, and received a Ph.D. in American literature from Emory University. She teaches American literature and creative writing in the M.F.A. program at Ohio State University in Columbus, where she lives.
