Spine slightly darkened, otherwise fine. Matching slipcase. Printed on vélin teinté, this is one of 50 copies with a suite of the wood engravings on japon pelure. The 41 engravings in the suite are mounted and bound in at the end.

Housed in a red cloth covered slip case with marbled paper lining. The spines are a bit rubbed and there are a couple of small scratches but overall this is an attractive set of this important collection. Neat school prize label, from St. George's school Harpenden and dated 1913, to the front blank free endpaper and gilt coat of arms stamp to the front inner board but otherwise the pages are clean and bright throughout.
