Creases with some tears and small pieces missing from top edge. Large piece missing from back. Old repairs). Some browning to endpapers. Else a clean and tight copy. 197 pp. With many b/w photographs. Told in pictures, the story of the Royal Engineers bridging of the many rivers between Normandy and Berlin in 1944/45. A fascinating story of the men and machines making the journey and allowing for eventual victory.
