About This Item

New York: Triangle Books, 1938. Reissue. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 0x0x0. Reissue. Multiple chips and tears to jacket, jacket stained. Pages toned. 1938 Hard Cover. 321 pp. Every right-minded lover of Wodehouse is inevitably a a lover of Jeeves, the perfect gentleman’s gentleman, and Bertie. In “Brinkley Manor” Bertie, resenting sundry aspersions on the so-called Wooster intelligence, tries to displace the incomparable Jeeves in rescuing those of his friends who tread upon Life’s banana skins. The result is side-splitting. Bertie’s attempts to tutor his friend, Gussie Rink-Nottle, hermit scientise, in the gentle art of lovemaking (poor Gussie knows only the love-life of news and guppies), and to arbitrate in the emotional warfare between his cousin Angel and plump Tuppy Glossop, bring several people to the verge of a nervous breakdown. And of course, Bertie has to turn to Jeeves for assistance that peace and harmony may be restored to a Brinkley Manor completely demoralized by the Woosterian wool-gathering.

Synopsis

Right Ho, Jeeves is a novel by P. G. Wodehouse, the second full-length novel featuring the popular characters Jeeves and Bertie Wooster, after Thank You, Jeeves. It also features a host of other recurring Wodehouse characters, and is mostly set at Brinkley Court, the home of Bertie's Aunt Dahlia.
