About This Item

London: John Murray, 1922. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good+. Blind-stamped orange cloth, clean and barely worn but faint label removal ghost bottom spine. xxxiii + 509 + (4. B.A.A.S. pub.list), 2 text ills; ornate Salford Borough Royal Museum Library plate to front pastedown with lib. number written across top and acquisition details, their oval purple stamp on t.p., verso front end-paper and twice elsewhere (though may have missed one), main problem is heavily tanned front -end-paper which was disbound and now re-fixed with transparent tear repair-tape, also slightly chipped corners, rear end-paper disbound but actually in better condition though also tanned and also has the faint oval lib. stamp, both paste-downs tanned. Main text however is clean, generally tight and unmarked. Myers' address to the Psychology Section (J.) is particularly interesting as Rivers was in fact President Elect of the Section at the time of his death and Myers had to step in. An attractive copy despite internal faults with end-papers. 14 cm x 21.5 cm
