Published by Groombridge & Sons, 1855. 1st edition.. Hardback. Very Good. Very good condition with no wrapper. Large format. Red leather spine and corners. Raised bands and gilt title to spine. Green decorated cloth with gilt vignettes. 60 hand-coloured engraved plates. Wear to cover edges; some darkening marks to edges of leather. Front joint is cracked, with some chipping. Some foxing and grubby marks to pages internally, but illustrations are exquisite!
