Black and white photographic frontispiece almost detached but still present. Black and white photographic plates throughout. Heavy cracking to front hinge, causing board to be loose. Cracks to guttering, exposing netting. Binding remains firm. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Plates are lightly tanned. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable bumping to corners and some scuffing and brown markings to surfaces. Lettering is slightly dulled. Spine has moderate crushing to ends, with some splits, and noticeable scuffing. Lettering to spine is mildly faded. Faint white marks with minor water staining overall. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.

The jacket is attached to the boards - boards are seen to be straight and firm and what can be seen is clean. The front end papers have 'cancelled' stamps; the front paste down shows where a record sheet has been ripped out. Slightly tanned cut edges. The text block is in near fine condition, tightly bound and unmarked. Library stamps etc on title page. With b/w photos. In very good pictorial jacket, covered in plastic, clean. Price clipped.
