New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1917. Early reprint. A child given away after an unplanned pregnancy returns to the village to find his birth mother. Illustrated with black and white plates. Green hardcover with dustjacket. The book has some light edgewear, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has some age-darkening to the light colored background, edge rubbing, small chips to the spine ends without loss of lettering or design, some old tape reinforcement to the reverse side, little paper loss.. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
