About This Item

Great Bridge Publishing Company. Soft cover. Very Good/None as Issued. Staped inside the front cover is a unsigned letter from Sidney L. O'Donoghue 12/09/97 presumably to Jack's wife Grace on the death of Jack and a photo copy of a page of an article by Jack headed "Payday" with the words "Brooklyn Boy remembers" boxed. Signed and inscribed on the title page "Sid & Ilona/To paraphrase a great line 'read/ this in remembrance of me'/ thanks/Jack/" . Stapled inside the title page is a Christmas card (no date) with note to Sid and Ilona from Grace & Jack to which is attached a newsprint copy of Jack's Poem "Copy Cats, Alas". There are age spots primarily on the intact cover and page edges and a rust mark where the subsequent page is in contact with a staple. Taped inside the rear cover is a copy of another article by Jack, "The Army Way", another "Brooklyn Boy Remembers" article. The book itself is intact. No underlining, no dogeared pages. The attachments are all relevant to the author himself and add value. A rare and sound copy of a remarkable memoir.
