The 1933 eddition is the 56th year of annual publication. The charts, adverts and nautical-related material are an important part of maritime history. Apart from daily tide information there is also port information, including distances between ports, and astronomical data. In this edition, some of the more widely used tables from Pearson's Nautical Almanac which merged with Brown's, have been included. The Tidal Constants have been thoroughly revised and extended, and now refer to Dover. The Nautical Tables and Methods Section has been thoroughly revised and the general Distance Tables extended, particularly by the addition of distances between ports on the American coasts. A valuable edition to an historical maritime collection. (Bookmark loosely inserted.).
