Bound in three quarters polished calf over marbled boards. 5 raised bands and 6 compartments with decoration. Leather title labels. Marbled endpapers and edges. VERY GOOD. Shows marginal loss from the extremities, spine somewhat rubbed, handsome former owner bookplates of the period at each paste-down, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
