Gift inscription in ink to half-title: " Muriel Percy from Lord Avebury" with note in pencil to verso ffep that the recipient is likely Lady Muriel Percy, the daughter of the Seventh Duke of Northumberland and that Lord Avebury was the title which Sir John Lubbock assumed in 1900.
