New York: Random House, 1977. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good. Signed by Block on the title page. Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($6.95), stained from adhesive on the flaps, partially split at the back flap, lightly rubbed otherwise. Quarter black buckram with yellow paper on the boards. Bound with some reading wear and a slight forward lean, stains on the endpapers and inside the boards, front endpaper missing. The first book in Block's Bernie Rhodenbarr series.
