An excellent first edition, third impression copy of this collection of poems by the award-winning author Walter de la Mare. The first edition, third impression of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. A collection of 74 poems by notable author Walter de la Mare, best known for his children's literature and short psychological horror fiction. The poems collected in this volume have various origins in time, mood, and place. Some written many years before the publication and have been revised, while others were more recent. In publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is very bright and smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for spotting to the paste downs and offsetting to the end papers. Dust wrapper is smart but sunned to the front of the wrap and to the spine, with a little spotting to the folds of the flaps. Minor chipping to the head and tail of the spine. Near Fine
