1964. An original unique bust of Abraham Lincoln dated 1964, which is the 100 year anniversary of his assassination. Weighs a little over 8lb. 14 inches tall including base which is 1.75 inches tall 4.75 inches wide hand made from plaster on back has copyright Austion Prod. 1964 engraved in the plaster with a larger engraving of KON ZAL base is made of oak with felt on the botto and sealed where affixed to the sculpture Jaw to head is 9 inches making this fairly life sized depicts lincoln wearing a bow and collar a rare original piece of art, with linoln ging up in value and 150th anniversary approaching in under 2 years.

New York: Currier & Ives, 152 Nassau St., 1865. Folio broadside, 12" x 16". Black and white bust portrait of a well-groomed, bearded Abraham Lincoln. He wears a dark jacket and vest with a white button-down collared shirt and dark bow tie. In very small print below the caption appears to be the number 205, or possibly 105. Moderately tanned, small white scattered spots. Several closed tears at edges and corners [several archival tape repairs on verso]. Good+.

Bust length portrait bronze of President Abraham Lincoln, signed and numbered by the artist, "J. Mavchi 09/100." Mounted on a square black granite or marble base. The base measures 10.5 inches in height. The entire piece with the base measures 12.75 inches in height. In fine condition. Abraham Lincoln served as the 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. He led the United States through its Civil War, and in doing so preserved the Union of the United States of America, abolished slavery, and strengthened the federal government. Lincoln began constructing his cabinet on election night and sought to create a cabinet that would unite the Republican party. His eventual cabinet would include his primary rivals for the Republican nomination and although his appointees held differing views on economic issues all were opposed to the expansion of slavery into the territories of the United States. Description:
Patinated bronze cast of Abraham Lincoln by George Bissell, one of only three commissioned by Ralph Newman for THE USS AL. Boldly signed by the artist in the back Geo. E. Bissell Sc. George Bissell was an important American sculptor working in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He produced two full length statues of Lincoln: one in Edinburgh and one in Clermont, Iowa. According to the letter from Lincoln College Curator Paul Beaver, the present item is one of three copies made from the school's original Bissell bronze bust of Lincoln by the Van Dyke Galleries of Chicago in the summer of 1989. One copy was presented to the USS Abraham Lincoln (commissioned in 1989), one copy was sold to Mel Smith, and the third to Barry and Louise Taper. In fine condition. The piece measures 25.5 inches in height. An exceptional piece.

Patinated bronze portrait bust of Abraham Lincoln, marked "GEO. E. BISSELL Sc GORHAM CO. FOUNDERS copyrighted," and stamped "G 47." This is one of a series of popular desktop busts of Lincoln produced by the Gorham foundry in the early part of the 20th century. In fine condition. The piece measures 18 inches in height. An exceptional piece of American history.
