London: William Heinemann Ltd, (1938). First edition of this play, a comedy in three acts. Simultaneously issued in hardback and paperwraps, and presume therefore a relatively small quantity of the hardbacks were issued. This copy in hardback. Name on front endpaper otherwise very good condition in red cloth with very minor cover wear. We assume it was issued without a dust jacket, as none is mentioned in either Toole or the Rothchild Collection.
