About This Item

Washington, D.C.: Carnegie Institution of Washington, 1969. 1969 Reprint of 1908 original. Two volumes bound as one + spiral bound atlas. Near fine. A near fine set of the 1969 reprint of the official California state report of the 1906 earthquake.  The reprint edition has bound volumes bound as one in maroon cloth with gilt titles on the spine, and the atlas is separately spiral-bound with gilt titles on the front cover.   There is just slight bumping at the corners and spine end of both the main volume and the atlas, and the gilt titles are slightly faded on the main volume.  There are no marks or damage to the contents of either book, and, in fact, the set appears unread.
An exceptionally well-preserved set.

Note, this set is quite heavy, approximating 10 lbs., and so may require extra shipping cost, particularly to destinations outside the US.. DG.
