San Francisco, CA: A. M. Robertson, 1916. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Hardcover. This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Very Good- to Near Very Good dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some light bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright. The rear endpaper has several spots of ground-in dirt and spotting. The dust jacket has several small edge chips , especially to the spine ends. "Inez Haynes Irwin (March 2, 1873 - September 30, 1970) was an American feminist author, journalist, member of the National Women's Party, and president of the Authors Guild. [1] Many of her works were published under her former name Inez Haynes Gillmore. She wrote over 40 books and was active in the suffragist movement in the early 1900s. Irwin was a "rebellious and daring woman", but referred to herself as "the most timid of created beings". She died at the age of 97.". Very Good+ in Very Good- dust jacket .
